Wendy S. Axelrod Coaching & Consulting, LLC (“WSACC”, “We”, “Our” or “Us”) owns this website. This privacy policy governs the collection, use, processing and disclosure of your Personal Information (as defined below), when you use or access this website.

Your continued use of this website, including making a purchase of services, constitutes your representation that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms of this privacy policy in its entirety, whether you have read it or not.

WSACC collects certain information about you both automatically and through voluntary actions you may take during your website visit. We seek to minimize the amount of information collected to that which we have a business reason to collect.

Automatically collected information may include type of computer or mobile device, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, unique device identifiers, language preference, referring site, operating system, geographic device location, mobile network information, Website pages visited, time and date of visits, time spent on pages visited and other statistics (“Log Information”). We use Log Information for marketing and service improvement purposes, such as identifying the most heavily visited and consumed website pages. Log Information cannot personally identify you and does not include Personal Information.

Use of “Cookies”.

A “cookie” is a small text file that is transferred by a website to the website visitor’s computer hard drive or mobile device, where the cookie is stored. The cookie is used as an anonymous unique identifier. Each time the visitor returns to the website, the visitor’s browser provides the cookie to the website. Confidentiality; Disclosure to Third-Party Service Providers; Data Controller and Processors.

We strive to keep your Personal Information confidential. As a standard practice, we do not sell, rent, lease or otherwise transfer any information collected whether automatically or through your voluntary action. As the entity collecting and using your Personal Information, WSACC is the data controller.

We may disclose your Personal Information to trusted third-party service providers that we utilize for the sole purpose of providing our services to you (“Third-Party Service Providers”). This may include, without limitation, providers of technical and organizational services such as: credit/debit card payment processing, videoconferencing, teleconferencing, contract signing, calendar scheduling, email hosting, newsletter/email distribution, and iPEC’s Energy Leadership Index Assessment™. We endeavor to utilize Third-Party Service providers as our data processors that we believe take the utmost care in securing data and complying with applicable data protection regulations and laws (e.g., GDPR-compliant).

Voluntary Public Disclosure Exclusion.

Whenever you voluntarily disclose your Personal Information publicly and make it available online for viewing, use and collection by others through this website, we are not responsible for any unauthorized or improper use of such publicly shared information (“Voluntary Public Disclosure”). Voluntary Public Disclosures are excluded from the Confidentiality provision and may include, without limitation, sharing “Likes”, comments, testimonials or other content contributions posted on our website, blog or social media, details while participating in group calls or your public profile). Voluntary Public Disclosures also includes your consent to post your feedback on our services (testimonials) on our website.

Cross-Border Data Transfers.

For European Union visitors, please note that we are located in the United States. By using our website and providing us with your Personal Information, you are consenting to transfer your Personal Information in accordance with this privacy policy to the United States, which may have different data protection rules than those of your country. We employ commercially reasonable methods to secure your Personal Information from misuse, disclosure or unauthorized access. Since no method of online transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, we cannot and do not guarantee your Personal Information’s absolute security. In the event we become aware of a data breach that concerns your Personal Information, we will inform you as soon as practicable.

Since email is not recognized as a secure medium of communication, we advise exercising caution when emailing us and to note that you are doing so at your own risk. Some of the information entered on our website may be transmitted securely via the Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”) protocol. Billing information is never transmitted via email.

Data Retention.

We seek to limit our retention of your Personal Information to only so long as we have a business, accounting, or contractual or other legal need to retain it, including for as long as you are a client (or you expressed interest in working together again after our engagement concluded) or the performance of our services requires.

Opting Out; Anti-Spamming Policy.

We have a no spam policy. We will not sell, rent or share your email address. You may opt out of/unsubscribe from our mailing list, newsletters, updates or offers at any time by sending us an email with “Unsubscribe” in the Subject line to wendy@wsaxelrod.com. In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, all emails sent by WSACC clearly state that we are the sender, how to contact us and how to request that we no longer send you further emails. This information can be found in the header, signature line and/or footer of all emails.

Please note that if you choose not to provide us with certain Personal Information, you might not be able to participate in certain aspects of our website.

Data Subject Rights.

Our website may contain links to other websites or social media platforms (“Third-Party Sites”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to, and WSACC is not responsible for, such Third-Party Sites. When you click on a link to visit a Third-Party Site, you will be subject to that site’s privacy policy and practices.

Children’s Privacy.

Our website is not intended for, and does not market to, children under 18. We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under 18, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) which prohibits Personal Information collection from children under 13. If we discover or are informed that a child has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete it from our computer systems as soon as practicable.

WSACC reserves the right to update this privacy policy at any time and without notice. Policy updates are effective immediately upon posting on this website as of the “Date Last Updated” at the bottom of this webpage. Your continued use of this website after any update is posted constitutes your acceptance of our changes.
